Hope Scholarship

Shabazz Academy was proud to have 9 Sixth Grade students inducted as HOPE Scholars at Lansing Community College. The program, sponsored by the Mayor’s Office, Lansing Police Department and LCC, provides full two year community college scholarships to these students. At the ceremony, our 6th graders pledged to work their hardest to accomplish their academic goals and to grow as good citizens. By completing their K-12 education in Lansing, our students will have the opportunity to go to college for free! Good job 6th graders, we’re rooting for you!
